My kids had a blast every thing they wanted to do was right there at the resort. However you need to pay for everything you do. BIkes, tennis, pingpong. The resort is pretty expensive as it is then they charge you to park you car that part I did not like. Someone parked in my spot and they made it seem like my fault and made me park way away from my room in a public lot. I liked parts of the place, we had a great time and the Barefoot restaurant was fun on the band nights. Being from Las Vegas the pools closing at 10pm was inconvient even apartment complexs let you hang till midnight. Alot of older people were sitting around the fire pit enjoying themselves now that the kids were in bad and in came security and kicked us all out. We are on vacation to and would like to have some quiet time and relax and enjoy ourselves as well. SO it had its good and bad but overall I liked most of it, The pools were nice, my room was very clean and we had no problems there

I took my two boys to San DIego to go to Sea World. The hotel is within walking distance but it is a decent walk. The exterior of the hotel looks old but we were pleasantly surprised that our room was more modern inside. The grounds were just plain dirty. We drove around and saw towels laying in the middle of the road that the maids had dropped and room service dishes that sat outside overnight and was strewn around by the birds. Our bathroom had mold and we never had enough towels. It was $* a night to park and my car got scratched because the spots were so small, the car next to me hit my car. I also could not get any internet reception on my iphone unless I paid $* daily. I should have had an idea what was in store when I used the lobby restroom and it was a filthy mess with no toilet paper. Did not use any of the amenities as we tried only to sleep there.

Worst Hotel stay ever!!

Booked a two queen bay view bungalow, just a basic room, no central a/c or heat. Mold in the room and also sand on the floor. When I checked in they gave me a king bungalow, I had to drive all the way back to the lobby to switch rooms, which they did not apologize for, they just kept blaming everything on the 800 number. For the amount of money to stay there, you would think they would tell you about the property and everything they have to offer but they just give you a key and a map. Then who ever I booked my room with said the location of the bungalows are first come, first serve, I wanted the cove section of the beach. When I arrived they told me that those are specific types of rooms and my room was not in the cove, I was disappointed. My room was very far from the ice machine, I had to drive there every night and I only found two ice machine locations when I drove around. The second night we were there our room keys weren't working, we called the front desk to bring a key, my two sons were sleeping and it took them 30 minutes to bring the key. The next day we ordered room service, they made my omelet wrong and it only took 5 minutes to bring me a new one. It took them 30 minutes to bring me a key, and 5 minutes to cook a new omelet. Something is backwards here. They cleaned the room, left the dirty room service dishes, we moved it outside of the room and it was still there the next morning. This place is not worth the money and the staff is rude and slow about everything.

In general nice, tropical environment, very quiet, easy access and egress. Room details in our specific case left much to be desired - first given a wrong room assignment (room already occupied), the room we stayed in for three nights had no ice bucket, no telephone book, no coffee maker, no hooks for towels, only two water glasses, only two storage drawers, the TV channel listings were hidden in the glossary book, the refrigerator encased in a wooden cabinet didn't function properly. On the second day, a pile of clean linens were left behind, but no fresh towels. Directional signage in the resort is sometimes misleading and in one case wrong. The parking fee of $ *.- per night is exorbitant. Prices in the Market and at Baleens Restaurant are high, but at least our last meals were well presented and tasty. Would stay there again only if a better room was provided.

The staff here was very helpful and professional, it is a large resort and things are spread out, but some one was always there to offer a quick ride. Room service was very good, but extremely expensive as were the on site restaurants. My biggest issue was there was no coffee in the room, being an early riser, I had to wait until around 6: 20 or so for a wake up cup of joe. I thought being charged extra for parking in front of the room was also a little out of line. but over all it is a convient and beautiful place.
