great location, stop looking at hotels

Highly recommended. We chose this hotel because it is only two blocks from the passenger ferry and because it had a lower price relative to the other hotels in the area. We were very impressed with the helpfulness of the front desk when we checked in. They recommended places to eat and helped us plan our trip to Buchart Gardens. The room had two queen beds which we needed because we had three adults. This setup was hard to find at a reasonable price in Victoria. The room itself was clean and large. It didn't have air conditioning, but we were not hot in mid-August since there was a cool breeze and plenty of circulation. The lobby had a free internet kiosk and we took advantage of the private pool area which was shady and quiet. This hotel offers very good value in an expensive Victoria location.
